Fordfield House Nursery was established in 1988 to cater for children in a safe, homely environment whilst respecting the growing number of parents and carers who believe that education of the whole child begins from the earliest years. As a result we have created a professional stimulating facility for your child.

We believe that children should be happy and enjoy their lives. That children are unique and should be valued and respected in a positive, friendly and caring environment.

All children should be treated equally regardless of skin colour, their race or religion, abilities, gender or family background.

Beautiful rural surroundings, perfect for outdoor fun and activities.

Fordfield caters for children from 6 months to 5 years and has a thriving holiday service for children aged 4 – 13 years. The nursery is open for 47 weeks per year.

The nursery is committed to promoting the welfare and development of all our young children and is achieving the national standards as stated by OFSTED. The nursery has been inspected by OFSTED and is successfully delivering the foundation stage curriculum.

Every child deserves the best possible start in life and the support that enables them to fulfil their potential. Children develop quickly in the early years and a child’s experiences between birth and age five have a major impact on their future life chances. A secure, safe and happy childhood is important in its own right. Good parenting and high quality early learning together provide the foundation children need to make the most of their abilities and talents as they grow up.

We have two nursery sites, easily accessible from Ampthill, Barton-le-Clay, Clophill, Flitton, Flitwick, Greenfield, Houghton Conquest, Lidlington, Marston Mortaine, Maulden, Millbrook, Pulloxhill, Ridgmont, Silsoe, Shefford, Steppingley, Stewartby, Tingrith, Westoning, Wilstead, Wixams, Biggleswade and Woburn.
